Beautiful yarn to work with, and wash and wearable. Love the colour as a nice tweed mix. The pics below show the Mary Maxim pattern I used to make my daughter the XL size vest. I could have made the L and there would have been plenty of room. The yarn did not split when knitting with it and it did not matt or fuzz while knitting, leaving a beautiful finish. Yarn was very soft as well. Would buy again in a heartbeat!

I began making a sweater for my first grandbaby, who is due in March, with this yarn, and quickly realized I needed more, because I want to make a hat and other items out of it too. It's beautifully gender neutral (they aren't finding out until the baby's born) and is so soft too. I know my daughter-in-law is going to love what I made with it!

I have used this yarn in other patterns--I most recently made MJ's Off the Hook Spring V-Stitch Sweater with it earlier this year and it worked up beautifully with it. This has long been a favorite of mine. It was on sale and I took the opportunity to stock up. I am a huge Mary Maxim fan!
I found quite a few large knots in a few skeins where the yarn was joined and I had to actually cut the yarn.
I purchased 5 skiens and 3 of them were exactly as advertised: soft, pretty and the same weight. BUT the last 2 were like spun plastic, thinner, very shiny and not soft at all. As I’m making a sweater, this is less than ideal, because it looks like I switched what yarn I was using half-way through.
