I have been working on this project for a few weeks and noticed that I was going to be short with the light green that is used for the leaves. I sent Mary Maxim an email and they replied quickly. They said they would send more yarn to me and asked how much more I would need. I mentioned to them that I was living in Ontario Canada and they told me that it would not be a problem at all.
It was more difficult than thought it would be. But turned out fine .I didn't know the butterfly had to be attached after I finished the stitching. I had trouble making the Turkey stitch. Haven't completed anything else that I purchased yet.
Working on it right now. Love the vibrant colors. Instructions were good.. However, I came up short on a couple colors and borrowed from another kit.
Very disappointed that the pieces weren't already cut. I wanted to start right in not take time to cut the pieces out, so nervous of making a mistake. Takes a toll on your scissors. The coasters were smaller than I expected.
Started with coaster set. There are 3 beautiful purples on the top of the coaster box. The box itself was great fun to make, as were the coasters. I would have liked more than 2 coaster patterns. Got a little monotonous, stitching the same thing over and over. I picked this set for me I love all shades of purple. Had no purple coasters. Wanted a purple butterfly tissue box. Using wallhanging on door.
I'm half-way through this item and I love it. I bought it as a Birthday gift for a friend who loves any shade of purple.
