Knit this jacket using Mary Maxim Worsted Weight yarn. Perfect to pair with slacks, skirt, or dresses. Large square collar, patch pockets, tie belt, and tight ribbed cuffs all combine to make this one of your favorite sweaters! Designed using Mary Maxim Nubbynit worsted weight yarns that provided 170 yds per 2 oz skein at the time. Shop our entire line of worsted yarns for this project. Keep in mind that yardages will vary. Materials List: All sizes: 20 oz, and 25 yds of matching yarn to sew seams. You'll also need knitting needles sizes 4 (3.50 mm) and 6 (4.25 mm). Fits sizes 32-34, 36-38, 40-42—Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, stockinette, repeat, increase, decrease, slip.

It’s my first time following a pattern to knit something, and of course I am doing this because of PHM! But the pattern is pretty easy to follow and I’m making good progress- two sleeves done! Amaze amaze amaze! I bought the kit, and it comes with everything needed except for needles, which I appreciated so I could find a style of needle that work for me. I will probably be a lifelong Mary Maxim pattern purchaser now! If you’re on the fence and have beginner to intermediate knitting skills, try it. I was able to figure it out!
I got 2 skeins each in Deep Teal, Rich Red and Cottonwood. The colors are pretty with a light sheen and very soft. It's really nice to crochet with. I'm going to surprise my daughter with scarves when she visits from Georgia. She doesn't crochet so I try to keep her in throws and scarves plus blankets for her fur babies. I'm new to Mary Maxim, this will be my 2nd order for yarns, I can say I'm happy with my purchases.
