Knit this unique throw with our pattern. Created using Mary Maxim Best Value worsted weight yarn that provided 294 yds per 6 oz skein at that time. Have fun shopping our worsted selections for the color combinations that will best fit your home decor, including Mary Maxim Best Value! Please note that yardage can vary by brand as you plan your project. Materials List: Cottonwood, Driftwood, Desert Rose, Wild Raspberry (1 skein each color). Misty Plum, Wedgewood, Sea Mist (2 skeins each color), and Deep Pine (3 skeins). Also needed are knitting needles sizes U.S. 8" double point size 8 (5 mm), 24" circular needle size 8 (5 mm), 29" circular needle size 8 (5 mm) and 36" circular needle size 8 (5 mm). Finished size 56" square—Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, stocking stitch, decrease, increase, repeat.

It’s my first time following a pattern to knit something, and of course I am doing this because of PHM! But the pattern is pretty easy to follow and I’m making good progress- two sleeves done! Amaze amaze amaze! I bought the kit, and it comes with everything needed except for needles, which I appreciated so I could find a style of needle that work for me. I will probably be a lifelong Mary Maxim pattern purchaser now! If you’re on the fence and have beginner to intermediate knitting skills, try it. I was able to figure it out!
I got 2 skeins each in Deep Teal, Rich Red and Cottonwood. The colors are pretty with a light sheen and very soft. It's really nice to crochet with. I'm going to surprise my daughter with scarves when she visits from Georgia. She doesn't crochet so I try to keep her in throws and scarves plus blankets for her fur babies. I'm new to Mary Maxim, this will be my 2nd order for yarns, I can say I'm happy with my purchases.
