With our exclusive pattern, you can knit this modern twist on the classic log cabin quilt. Designed for Mary Maxim Titan yarn, a bulky weight, which offers 80 yds per skein. Shop our entire stock of bulky yarns to find the perfect color combination, including Titan! Please keep in mind, yardages can vary. Materials List: Teal Heather and Lt Grey (5 skeins each), Lt Grey, Black, Cottonwood, Med. Grey, and Dk. Denim (2 skeins each). Requires 36" circ. needle size 11 and needles size 11. Size 50 x 50". Easy Knit.
Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, repeat, increase, slip stitches.

I bought four skeins of the Painted Desert yarn to make a baby blanket for my expectant niece. It’s a bit unconventional in color for a baby but my niece loves these colors, so I went for it. The yarn is very soft & easy to crochet with. There were a couple of skeins with extra knots - always a pet peeve of mine - but unfortunately unavoidable. The blanket turned out adorable & I know my niece will love it!
