Knit this charming pullover using Mary Maxim worsted-weight yarn for a boy or girl. Designed using Mary Maxim Starlette worsted yarn that offered 180 yds per 3.5 oz skein at the time. Shop our extensive lines of worsted yarns for that perfect color combination that will match your child's personality and horse! Keep in mind, yardages may vary. Materials List: MC Size 6-8 (4 balls), Size 10-12 (5 balls). CC Size 6-8 Natural, Sand, Camel, Brown, Dk Brown, Black (35 Yds each). Size 10-12 CC Natural, Sand, Brown, Dk Brown (35 yds each) and Camel Black (70 Yds each). Also required are knitting needles size U.S. 5 (3.75 mm), and 8 (5 mm). Fits children sizes 6-8-10-12—Intermediate knit.
Stitch requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, stocking stitch, decrease, increase, repeat.

I did this sweater in DK weight on smaller needles and followed the pattern exactly for size 6. It turned out perfectly for my 2-1-2 year old granddaughter. So cute and instructions are very detailed and well written. I will definitely use Mary Maxim patterns again.
