Make a timeless statement with our graph-style Horse and Rider cardigan pattern (pictured right)! Front has pockets and no image. This unique sweater will set you apart from the crowd and garner attention for its classic style and fit. Features raglan sleeves and comfy flat, shawl, or windbreaker collar. Originally crafted with Mary Maxim Titan bulky weight yarn with 80 yards per skein, we now offer a great selection of bulky yarns to suit your style. Be aware yardage may be different. We recommend Mary Maxim Titan for this project! Materials List: Sies 38-40 MC (13 skeins). Sizes 42-44 (14 skeins). All sizes: CC Black (1 skein), Lt Grey (40 yds), Dk Grey and Gold (20 yds ea), knitting needles size U.S. 6 (4.25 mm) and 9 (5.50 mm), and open-end zipper or 8 buttons. Fits sizes 38-40-42-44—Intermediate knit. Rodeo (left) and Barrel Racer patterns (center) sold separately.
Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, repeat, increase, decrease, stocking stitch, color changes using Fair Isle and colored pattern knitting methods.

It’s my first time following a pattern to knit something, and of course I am doing this because of PHM! But the pattern is pretty easy to follow and I’m making good progress- two sleeves done! Amaze amaze amaze! I bought the kit, and it comes with everything needed except for needles, which I appreciated so I could find a style of needle that work for me. I will probably be a lifelong Mary Maxim pattern purchaser now! If you’re on the fence and have beginner to intermediate knitting skills, try it. I was able to figure it out!
I got 2 skeins each in Deep Teal, Rich Red and Cottonwood. The colors are pretty with a light sheen and very soft. It's really nice to crochet with. I'm going to surprise my daughter with scarves when she visits from Georgia. She doesn't crochet so I try to keep her in throws and scarves plus blankets for her fur babies. I'm new to Mary Maxim, this will be my 2nd order for yarns, I can say I'm happy with my purchases.
