Knit a treasured keepsake snowman gift bag using our exclusive graph-style pattern. What fun it will be to watch their face light up when you hand a gift enclosed in such a bag! Its both practical and adorable! Designed using Mary Maxim Starlette worsted-weight yarn that offered 180 yds per 3.5 oz skein at the time. Shop all our worsted yarn collections, including Starlette. Just keep in mind, yardages will vary by brand. Materials List: MC Lt Brown (2 balls), White (70 yds), Black, Blue, Yellow, Dk Brown, Red, Green, Orange (35 yds each), and knitting needles size 7 (4.50 mm). Finished size 10 x 14" (25.5 x 35.5 cm)—Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, stocking stitch, decrease, increase, repeat.

It’s my first time following a pattern to knit something, and of course I am doing this because of PHM! But the pattern is pretty easy to follow and I’m making good progress- two sleeves done! Amaze amaze amaze! I bought the kit, and it comes with everything needed except for needles, which I appreciated so I could find a style of needle that work for me. I will probably be a lifelong Mary Maxim pattern purchaser now! If you’re on the fence and have beginner to intermediate knitting skills, try it. I was able to figure it out!
I got 2 skeins each in Deep Teal, Rich Red and Cottonwood. The colors are pretty with a light sheen and very soft. It's really nice to crochet with. I'm going to surprise my daughter with scarves when she visits from Georgia. She doesn't crochet so I try to keep her in throws and scarves plus blankets for her fur babies. I'm new to Mary Maxim, this will be my 2nd order for yarns, I can say I'm happy with my purchases.
