Love the pattern but yhe numbers seem to be wrong orI’m doing something wrong. I have frogged it four times but keep getting the same result. So I’ve altered the pattern and it seems ok.

For ?experienced" crocheters

This is a beautiful pattern but I would say it is for "experienced" crocheters . I have no trouble with C4L, C4R and so on, because I've made latticed and cabled Afghans before, but a beginner could definitely find the idea of crossing back over completed posts to do post crochets on skipped stitches confusing. Having said that, as with most Afghans, once you get comfortable with the repeating design, it becomes quite enjoyable to work and makes a very impressive item for showing off or gifting.

Call me Confused!

I've just started this pattern and I'm only on row 3, but I find it very confusing leading to many questions.
Isn't a FPdc a triple dc?
What do you mean by always skip sc behind each FPdc?
I won't even mention Row 3 where we begin to C4L!
Is there an online, video tutorial I can view?

Hi Lynn, I'm sorry to hear you're feeling confused with the pattern. Please contact us at info@marymaxim.com to set up project assistance.

Ridiculous pattern

I've been crocheting for 40 years and cannot make sense of some of the steps of this pattern. Plus no matter what I do I cannot hide the change of colors to obtain a clean line. Messy pattern. If there weren't these issues I think it'd be a pretty pattern.

Hello Lisa, I apologize for the confusion and frustration you experienced with the pattern. Thank you for your feedback. Our project assistance team will be in touch with you as soon as possible. I have added your color change concerns to your request. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Where are the instructions?

I know this is an intermediate pattern but for what I paid for the KIT there should be a few pages showing how some of these pattern instructions work in more detail. I'm struggling with this stupid Foundation Row, who can't you stick with what works?

If you don't start showing us more of the "how-to's" in these patterns you're going to lose people. The stores don't teach in store any more and crochet and knitting isn't the easiest thing to learn on your own.

Hi John, thank you for your feedback on the Coffee and Cream Throw pattern. I apologize for the confusion and any frustration it may have caused. We do have an excellent project assistance team that would love to assist you. They will be able to go into more depth, and answer any questions you may have. Please contact customer service at 1 800 962 9504 to set up project assistance.
