Stitch Requirements: Chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, repeat, increase, decrease, skip, foundation double crochet, front post. cable, left twist, right twist.

I made this years ago. It turned out nice, but I do not like to sew pieces together.
Challenging, but so worth it. Once I had the knack, it was smooth sailing. I finished it during the time my dog had her first litter of puppies, so it is my favorite. Definitely worth the work!

I absolutely love this pattern and the yarn as well! I bought one kit last year & created two separate throws from it. The pattern is so beautiful that I ordered another kit, and bought extra yarn, so that I could create a king-sized bedspread. The yarn is very soft and easier to work with than some other brands of soft yarn. I used the coffee & cream colors & the result is exquisite.
Truly a classic and beautiful pattern. It will coordinate with any decor and make a great gift. The pattern is well written and you can't go wrong with Simply Soft.
Love the pattern but I really wish I could find a video to show me how to complete row 3. A visual is so much more helpful than written instructions. This is my second attempt at this pattern and I’m determined to complete it this time!
The pattern is beautiful.. The yarn one of my favorites. I am still working out stitches, this pattern is a bit of a challenge for me, but I am determined to get through the new stitches. Could use some specific video tutorials, but the directions are good.

Loved the completed afgan
I fell in love with this pattern when I first saw it. As others have stated, it was a difficult pattern to figure out, but well worth the time to work at it. As it is worked in strips it makes it easy to take with you. It is a "throw" not full size afghan. I do love the yarn as it is easy to work with and has a beautiful sheen and hand. As I got close to finishing it I began to think I wouldn't have enough of the light yarn, but it was just enough. Well worth the time and work to make it.
I am currently working on this afghan (2/2022). As an experienced crocheter I found this challenging. After finishing the first strip I finally was able to understand the pattern. It would be better with more detailed (even a video) instructions. If you decide to make this, don't get discouraged as it is very lovely. Also, I have always loved Caron Simply Soft yarn and is great for this pattern. If you want to make something that challenges your craft, this is it.

The Afghan is beautiful and I am enjoying crocheting it. Although the instructions are written fairly well, it is a difficult pattern and I had to watch a YouTube video several times to figure out how to do one of the stitches. It’s a very awkward stitch and takes practice. You must pay attention to stitch count and placement and I’m using a stitch marker to avoid mistakes.

I made this as a gift. I was impressed with the beautiful pattern and the instructions we’re easy to follow. I always look for more complicated patterns, thought the pattern was, the instructions were explicit and easy to follow. The gift receiver was overwhelmed by the beautiful pattern. Being a coffee lover, this Afghan will have a place of honor in her new home. I was happy to give this gift in the same vinyl tote as I received it.

This beautiful afghan was fun to crochet, and since it's worked in panels, it's portable, too... a big plus while traveling in the RV! It's worth the wait to arrive back in stock.
