Holiday Door Wall Hanging Plastic Canvas Kit

Love my door kit. This is not the first kit I have received. Each one has been fairly easy to do.

Working on it right now. A big project. Directions are very very well written and appreciate the clearness of pictures.

Im giving this to our daughter for Christmas

First attempt at plastic canvas. Very easy directions, beautiful colors, and lots of yarn left over so no fear of running out. Only criticism I have is it would be better if for the smaller pieces the pattern was actual size so the cutting out process would be quicker.

Be prepared. This project is very large and takes a lot of work, but I loved every minute of it, and I am very happy with the results.

I'm only part way through making this but I love the colors. It really gives me that Christmas-y feeling just by looking at it.

Pattern difficult to read. I kept mistaking colors and having to pull out stitches. Snowflakes are fiddly to do; I lost patience. For the branches on the wreath, the pattern is difficult to follow and requires putting multiple strands of yarn through a single hole until it is practically impossible to pull the needle through. After much diligence, I have almost finished the project, but I found it very frustrating.

I am currently working on this project and love it. I'm planning on making the Christmas trees and presents removable so I can change for seasons and keep this beauty up all year. The yarn choices are beautiful

I couldn't resist this cheerful Christmas kit. I bought one for my 12 year old granddaughter too and we both love it! There is more subtlety than you can realize from the photo--3 shades of red, 3 shades of green, etc. make for a richer canvas. I'm still not finished, but am enjoying the process. I encourage all crafters to separate the colors in advance and gently tie a knot in the center of each "hank" and also to snip off a sample of each color and tape it to the color chart. There are a couple of uncertainties if you merely go by the color name. Example: warm brown is really the harvest gold color.
