Crochet Club of the Month

These kits are worth every penny. I have loved them and get so excited to see what coming. Love them!

The basket patters were cute and easy to follow instructions. Cotton yarn is hard for me to use because of arthritis. I’m hoping for some #4 yarns and some scarves or wraps in the future.

Love getting a new project every month. I’m disabled and can’t leave the house hardly ever so this helps me stay busy and provides me with items to give to my loved ones.
I will say one disappointment has been sometimes the yarn is not great. My last project for example, the yarn was all messed up. I had to get rid of a lot of it cause it was broke in so many places and all the strands were not there.
Other than that kind of stuff that happens sometimes I love it. I feel like the price should be lowered though because the yarn sent normally is yarn that has been discontinued.

I received the Cannes Crossbody crochet bag kit for my first club kit. It came with Lion Brand cording. At first I was like, what the heck is this. But then I made the bag. It took a day, loved the cording and even made 2 other bags with Acrylic and other cording. Surprisingly I Loved the cording and plan to order some on Brown and Light Blue. People asks me where I got the bag. I say Mary Maxim kit and it was a Lion Brand Pattern. Very happy with my kit from the club. I would never have tried the cording but thanks to Mary Maxim taking me out of the normal zone, I tried something new. I will do more clubs and kits in the future.

The April kit was excellent. I loved the color of the yarn. The bag had very easy to follow instructions & I'm happy with how it turned out!

This was my very first crochet club of the month kit.
I received the "Smitten Kitten Pillow" kit for my first club of the month. The yarn in this kit is absolutely gorgeous and so soft. However, this kit reminds me of valentine's day. It is March. Past valentine's day now.
Not everyone enjoys amigurumi type projects, but I was surprised to see something other than a scarf or blanket panel. I do like how the kit came with more than enough of everything you would need. I don't forsee myself actually making this pillow. I will more than likely use the yarn for something else. Very cute idea though. I am definitely looking forward to what is to come next month for the kit. I have never used Mary Maxim yarns before and that is why I purchased the membership, to hopefully get the opportunity to use some of their different types of yarn, so that I may make purchases in the future, knowing what I like or have used. I was under the assumption that Mary Maxim would use only their brand of yarn for their monthly club kits. This specific kit had the Red Heart Hygge yarn in it, so that was kind of a bummer. I actually enjoy Hygge yarn, but was hoping these kits were based around the Mary Maxim brand. Overall, I gave this kit a 3 out of 5 stars, due to me not being a huge fan of that specific type of project/pillow, But the yarn is gorgeous, the price was affordable and they certainly gave more than enough materials. I'm hoping next month will be something I would use or like to make.

I love the yarn and the pattern, except for the special stitch. I’m left handed and that stitch didn’t work for me. I substituted for single crochet and moss stitch. It still turned out nice and I’m pleased. I was surprised at the quality of the yarn for a club kit.

This is my first crochet club and I'm having a blast! I should have joined sooner. I was always afraid that the project would be difficult but it's not! I am almost finished with my first, ever, cardigan! The yarn that came in December is scrumptious. I'm looking forward to MM's next kit! This is fun!

Great crochet kit! I feel like I'm getting a good amount of yarn in each kit. Every month I look forward to seeing what I get to make next.

Love my subscription, they always surprise me with each kit and the directions are not difficult. As long you pay attention they’re easy to follow. I absolutely love the yarn from all the kits. I can’t wait to see what kit I’m going to receive each month.

Directions were easy. More than enough yarn. I lined mine and shortened the strap.

I recently joined Crochet Club of the Monthand have received two kits so far and am very pleased with both. Both the projects and yarns are beautiful. The patterns are printed on high quality sturdy paper so have stood up to my constant picking up and laying down. I am looking forward to my future kits.

Love this crochet club

I liked the yarn/ribbon inluded fir the pattern. Not a fan of the sunhats pattern but i will mske them and give them away. Thus kitcwas much betyer than the last one i got, the potholders one, yarn was terrible! I was disappointed with that one.

I feel like you are trying to get etch rid of items that did not sell well in a catalog. I'm not sure if I should stay with this program

I love the products i get every month it pushes me out of my comfort zone and i get to try different and fun projects and expand my skills.
