Follow this free knit pattern to create baby booties. Pattern shown in Bernat Cot'n Corn, a worsted weight that offered 129 yds per 2.1 oz skein, with a fiber content of 67% cotton and 33% corn. Shop our wonderful selection of worsted yarns for this project. Please note, yardages will vary. Materials List: MC 1 skein, CC 1 skein, and knitting needle size 7 (4.50 mm). Fits infant to 6 months—Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, stocking stitch, repeat, increase, decrease, repeat, through the back loop, yarn forward as if to purl.

It’s my first time following a pattern to knit something, and of course I am doing this because of PHM! But the pattern is pretty easy to follow and I’m making good progress- two sleeves done! Amaze amaze amaze! I bought the kit, and it comes with everything needed except for needles, which I appreciated so I could find a style of needle that work for me. I will probably be a lifelong Mary Maxim pattern purchaser now! If you’re on the fence and have beginner to intermediate knitting skills, try it. I was able to figure it out!
I got 2 skeins each in Deep Teal, Rich Red and Cottonwood. The colors are pretty with a light sheen and very soft. It's really nice to crochet with. I'm going to surprise my daughter with scarves when she visits from Georgia. She doesn't crochet so I try to keep her in throws and scarves plus blankets for her fur babies. I'm new to Mary Maxim, this will be my 2nd order for yarns, I can say I'm happy with my purchases.
