Too cute patterns!
I really like working with the Premier Basix yarn. Recently made a blanket using the Azure, White and Lemon and very happy how it turned out. The yarn is very soft and doesn't split at all.
Love it! The can was larger than expected. It's big enough to hold my older paint tubes along with the new ones. Great for a beginner. It has everything needed except a project to paint.

The Premier Anti Pilling DK is my absolute favorite acrylic yarn. I have texture issues and this is the only acrylic yarn that ive been able to use on a large project. It supper soft and silky to work with and glides over my fingers as I’m crocheting. It’s also a great quality yarn that will last for years to come. I can’t wait to try the new super fine addition to the Anti Pilling family as I live in Florida so like blankets and sweaters to be in the lighter side.

I have crocheted six of MJs sweaters in the last 3 years but this is my first kit and first time using MJs yarn. Mary Maxim makes the process very easy by offering kits - they arrive in a clear reusable zipper bag with heavy printed patterns making it easy to start crocheting.
The only thing I have to say is greatness. I got 3 boxes of the same yarn, but a little bit of a difference in each one. If you buy more than 2 maybe make the boyarn different. I love them really addicting.

I haven't started yet, but reviewed directions which were very detailed and understandable. Noticed a problem with wrong yarn weight packaged in kit and called Customer Service who immediately corrected and sent the correct weight yarn at no charge, and I did not have to return wrong yarn. I am excited to begin!
Very disappointed in the yarn color. I ordered the yarn of the picture portrayed and the picture is not the yarn I received. The picture showed mostly white and red, the actual yarn as it turned out as I crocheted the pattern was mostly green and red. The pattern itself is great but I preferred the way it looked in the picture of which was mostly white and red. I've ordered several afghan kits from this site and so far have been very pleased except for this time as the yarn was not what I invisioned.
