Holiday gift giving just got a little easier with these charming Santa Candy Jars. Cover a one quart canning jar with these easy to make covers and fill with your favorite treats for family and friends. Easy to crochet, using single crochet stitches for Santa and Santa Hat Top, double crochet stitches for Santa’s Hat Cuff. Santa Candy Jars kit to crochet includes easy to follow pattern with Satin Stitch and Pompom diagrams. Includes Red Heart Super Saver 100% acrylic worsted weight yarn. Requires crochet hook size G-6. Crochet kit will make 12 Santa Candy Jar covers each approximately 8” high to fit over a 1 quart canning jar.
Stitch Requirements: Chain, double crochet, repeats, single crochet, slip stitch.

This kit supplied the instructions and yarn to produce many cute Santa jar coverings. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. I made several as gifts, some to cover wine bottles. I’m starting early to make more for next Christmas.

The instructions were difficult to follow for attaching the beard. Not happy with the way the beard looks. Also don’t like the color yarn for the face. This looks more Hispanic than white Caucasian. Don’t get me wrong I love Hispanic people, but the wrong color for me

When I saw this kit I immediately purchased one. I made a few & decided I couldn’t give multiples to families do I created an elf! Then I realized 3 were going to the same family & created a Mrs Claus for that family. I had so much fun creating. My husband enjoyed the creative spark it started for me. Each cover had a different character from the creating of each face. Will be making more!
This was a fun project to do. Instructions are easy to follow and it was fun making my first piece. I didn’t check my gauge so had to add on to the side to fit around the jar. It still looks good but next one will be better. Fun project.
I have had a blast making these. So far I’ve gotten 5 out of the skeins. Can probably get another one yet too. I also tried to make an elf out of it ...to pretty good result. Ears instead of beard
