Sandstone Ripple Afghan

The pattern was comfortable to understand and follow and the yarn colors true to the picture. It was pleasure to see progress as each layer was completed. My disappointment came when the kit did not have enough gray yarn (one more skein was needed to complete the project as designed). There are 4 stars for the pattern but no stars for the lack of material sent by the company

Seems nice but there might not be enough yarn

Directions were clear and concise

The pattern was a bit confusing to begin with but when I wrote down step by step it became quite easy.

I am much more comfortable crocheting, but this afghan caught my eye for its simple elegance. I found the pattern easy to follow and enjoyed watching it emerge from my needles. I also like that it's not as open a weave as many afghans I've made and is warmer to snuggle under. It has, despite my nervousness with knitting, become my favorite and I'm currently on my second one.

love the pattern. this is the second time I have made this afghan love all the afghan that I have bought from Mart Maxim

Instructions are extremely simple. I changed the blue to light grey. I used Grey, light Grey (instead of blue) and the Taupe. The pattern is beautiful. I would never use the grey again though. The yarn is thinner than the others and it isn't twisted well at all. The yarn separated while knitting. The rest was fine. I highly recommend something other than the MC, Grey. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the MC (grey).

This is a fun, not-too-difficult pattern that turns out beautifully. The yarn is great - durable yet soft. I enjoyed the kit so much i have re-ordered the yarn twice more to make the same afghan in different colors. Love the looks of the pattern and easy to follow directions.

This was a fun enjoyable project. The two row pattern provides enough complexity to keep you interested without being so complicated you can't figure it out and end up with an unfinished project!

The yarn is very soft with only 1 or 2 little knots in entire project- hence I gave quality 4 stars rather than 5. I substituted Natural for the Light Taupe pictured. The colors are warm and even more beautiful than pictured. I was concerned the finished product might be too heavy to use in a warm climate. I used a one size larger needle than the pattern called for. It is a bit more lacy than the picture, but the drape is outstanding and lighter than I expected while still being warm and cuddly.

This yarn was a pleasure to work with. The finished product is very soft and the afghan is a perfect size. I would definitely recommend this!

I bought and made two of these blankets in the exact colours shown and they were very easy to follow the pattern. The people that received them loved them and it only took me a couple of weeks each to make these working on them only at night for a few hours. Would recommend this article to anyone with some experience.
