This adorable deer is ready for the holiday festivities! Kit includes Mary Maxim Mellowspun DK yarn, safety eyes and buttons (may vary). Plastic safety nose is not included, but kit includes yarn and instructions to stitch a nose. Requires crochet hook E-4 (3.5 mm) and polyfill. Skill level: intermediate crochet.
Stitch Requirements: Magic Circle, chain, single crochet, slip stitch, back loop, invisible decrease, increase, decrease.

As others have mentioned, the eyes included in the kit are smaller than the ones pictured, and the nose is not included. I was also disappointed that decorative button for the scarf was not the same as the one that was pictured. The directions and photos are helpful, but the YouTube links that are included no longer work. Very cute and it is wonderful to have a kit with everything I need to make this adorable deer! He will be a great addition for this coming Christmas season.
As everyone else has pointed out, the finished deer is adorable. I think the kit could have been better put together though. The smaller quantities of yarn were kind of a tangled mess. I don’t mind hanks, but these were not hanks. They were too small for a swift and tangled as you rolled them in the balls. I also think the safety nose should have been included as most people do not have those lying around the house. I also found the romper to be much too large for the deer using the same size hook. I started three different times and finally ended up with a hook two sizes smaller than the original one to achieve a romper that fit properly. The pattern seems to imply the romper could be too small, and one might want to use a larger hook; if I had, I probably could’ve worn it myself. Despite all this, I’m very happy with the finished product, and I will likely be making more of them, after I order noses on Amazon!
I received safety eyes that were extremely too small and no idea or instruction on how to make the nose. So disappointed in this kit. I won’t buy any other kits due to this.

Cute deer and easy to make, unfortunately the yarn allotment did not match the requirement of the pattern. Did not have enough dark brown to make the arms , not enough red yarn to finish the sleeves and way too much white yarn. The green yarn came in 2 pieces which didn’t make sense to me. The safety eyes included were very small , so to get closer to the look of the deer in the pictures, I had to replace with larger eyes. Would have been better to have the pattern only and source the yarn and other items separately.
