Designed by Creativemamavyaz. Kit includes DK weight yarn, jinglebell and pattern to make set of 2. Requires crochet hook E-4 (3.5 mm) and polyfill. Approximately 10" tall. Intermediate crochet.

Everything you need to make these Christmas cats (except hooks and notions) is in this kit. The directions are very clear, and easy to read. Knowledge of crochet stitches is required.

The two yarns packed in the kit that I received, Mellowspun DK and Paton's Astra, while they are both marked DK, are not the same thickness, as is shown in the difference in their yardage/ 100g. The Mellowspun is quite a bit thinner than the Patons. Consequently, the cat heads, made in the Mellowspun, are quite a bit smaller than they should be compared to the hats, made in the Paton's. Secondly, there was insufficient of the green Paton's yarn to fully complete the hat. In addition, the instructions are not written in a standard way, and tend to be confusing at times.

Very disappointed. Directions were not as clear as most patterns I have made. Not enough green yarn and when I contacted the company they said they would send me enough to complete the project, but instead sent me two skeins of embroidery floss. Could not match the yarn anywhere so I had to start over with different yarn I had to purchase separately. May be cute when I am done but not worth the price for only getting slightly confusing directions. Should be sold as direction only not as a kit
