1st place contest winner, designed by Ruth Hunter. This little lapghan makes a big statement. Kit includes Red Heart Super Saver Ombre yarn and pattern. Finished size 35" (88.9 cm) x 42" (106.68 cm). Requires Crochet Hooks E-4, G-6 and size 7.
Stitch Requirements: Chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, slip, repeat, increase, decrease, V-stitch, front post, back post, puff stitch.

The order I placed was mostly for Christmas gifts. But I did order two patterns for Crochet Baby blankets. I have already finished one and love it. It came out so Beautiful. I used Big Twist 100% Acrylic that I had purchased from you earlier. It was perfect for this project.

I love the pattern and will definitely use it again with a couple of changes. The crochet hook size called for in the instructions seems too small to use with the worsted weight yarn that came with the kit. The afghan turned out very hard and stiff with the small hook. I would use a larger size crochet hook and softer worsted weight yarn such as Caron Simply Soft. I also added a ruffle edge to my project instead of the reverse single crochet edge called for in the pattern.
I really enjoyed all the stitches and it was a quick blanket due to its size, the only thing I didn’t like was how rough the yarn was, but t is taking some time to break in

i posted a question previously and on one answered...can someone please answer my question referring to the hooks used?
Is the pattern easy enough to follow? Did you really use 3 different hooks? Has anyone made it in coral?
I ordered it in hews of gray, and find it not nearly as pretty as I had expected. Also, the wool is prone to splitting, which sometimes makes a neat crochet stitch hard to maintain
