The Premier Anti Pilling DK is my absolute favorite acrylic yarn. I have texture issues and this is the only acrylic yarn that ive been able to use on a large project. It supper soft and silky to work with and glides over my fingers as I’m crocheting. It’s also a great quality yarn that will last for years to come. I can’t wait to try the new super fine addition to the Anti Pilling family as I live in Florida so like blankets and sweaters to be in the lighter side.

I have crocheted six of MJs sweaters in the last 3 years but this is my first kit and first time using MJs yarn. Mary Maxim makes the process very easy by offering kits - they arrive in a clear reusable zipper bag with heavy printed patterns making it easy to start crocheting.
The only thing I have to say is greatness. I got 3 boxes of the same yarn, but a little bit of a difference in each one. If you buy more than 2 maybe make the boyarn different. I love them really addicting.

Because of cutting the yarn every row which I really hated.
Love making this blanket. Ordered the kit on line, which was easy and convenient. I picked an off white colour as I did not know the gender of the baby, but it would beautiful in pink or blue!

Beautiful colour, nice yarn except one ball had 4 breaks in it. I didn't like the pattern because you have to cut the end of each row and I have a hard time working in the ends.

I have made many baby blankets using Marymaxim kits and I have been pleased with every finished project. I just started this particular blanket - it looks so pretty in the photo. I am stuck after the first row and do not understand the diagram for the "blocks". Would someone be able to post a video of how the flips/turns work to create the block? I am so frustrated with this pattern.

I enjoyed making this baby blanket, and for my tension, had just enough left over to make small matching baby hat.... Stitches in the pattern really show off the variegation nicely. Easy to work & definitely will use this yarn/pattern again.
Pattern super easy to read, yarn supplied for project is nice quality and easy to work with and nice variety of color.
The yarn was a charm to work with. Loved the pattern. The only issue was I only had enough yarn to complete one side of the border. Maybe I should tighten up my tension. The measurements of my work were actually extremely close to the pattern. All in all, 5 out of 5. I just left the edging off. haha

I ordered this baby blanket because I thought it looked so lovely. Marked as "Easy" crochet, I thought I could do it but it is much more complicated than a beginner could accomplish. Now I don't know what to do. Maybe purchase an easier pattern, one that a novice can follow.

Finished product is lovely, just like in the picture. Yarn is easy to work with and very pretty. Instructions a little confusing but I was easily able to adjust to make it work.
I spent an evening trying to understand the pattern and was unsuccessful. It was too complicated. I used the yarn that came in the kit to crochet a different pattern for a baby blanket. The yarn worked up beautifully. I was very pleased with the Sugar Stripes yarn but NOT the pattern.
