Designed using Mary Maxim Starlette worsted weight yarn that offered 180 yds per 3.5 oz skein at the time. Discover an exciting selection of worsted yarns with all your favorite brands and hues. Keep in mind, yardages will vary. Materials List: Red and White (3 balls each), Green (1 ball). 7 mesh plastic canvas, 6: plastic canvas circle. and crochet hook size K/10.5 (6.50 mm).

It’s my first time following a pattern to knit something, and of course I am doing this because of PHM! But the pattern is pretty easy to follow and I’m making good progress- two sleeves done! Amaze amaze amaze! I bought the kit, and it comes with everything needed except for needles, which I appreciated so I could find a style of needle that work for me. I will probably be a lifelong Mary Maxim pattern purchaser now! If you’re on the fence and have beginner to intermediate knitting skills, try it. I was able to figure it out!
