The original yarn used was Mary Maxim's Knitting Worsted, providing approximately 240 yards on a 4 oz skein at the time. But now, with a wide variety of worsted yarns to choose from, you can customize this project to suit your style or event. Keep in mind that yardage may differ. Transform this design into a fabulous showstopper with Mary Maxim Glimmer! Add a touch of sparkle for a glamorous and dazzling look. Materials List: Sz 34-36 (22 oz), Sz 36-38 (24 oz), knitting needles size U.S. 4 (3.50 mm) & 9 (5.50 mm). Fits sizes 34-36-38—Intermediate knit.

I Love this yarn. It works up so easily. I do suggest making cakes out of the skeins, if it tangles it’s hard to untangle. The key I found to that problem is to NEVER pull the yarn tight while your untangling it and use a crochet needle, it makes it easy to separate. Every item I make from this yarn just makes me buy more and everyone that sees it asks me what it is or for me to make them something.
