Wrap your little one in warmth with this charming knit cocoon and matching hat pattern. Originally designed in 2015 for Mary Maxim's Knit Club, this project combines comfort with simplicity. The pattern calls for Bernat Pipsqueak bulky-weight yarn—a luxuriously soft, 100% polyester fleece-style yarn that creates an irresistibly cozy finish. You'll need just 4 balls and U.S. size 10 (6 mm) needles to complete this delightful set. The finished cocoon measures 24" in circumference and length, while the hat fits a 16" circumference head. Perfect for gifting or creating a treasured keepsake, this pattern delivers professional results with straightforward instructions that knitters of all levels can master. Note, the Cocoon and hat are worked sideways.

Lovely afghan. Instructions are very helpful. The only thing that I have encountered is you don’t want to miss stitches or miss counting stitches. If you buy this beautiful afghan make sure you have stitch markers.

I have not started on this blanket yet, but I love all the other Mary Maxon baby blankets I've done; and I have done a lot. The yellow yarn color is so, pretty and it is very soft. I rate this blanket is going to be a five star.
I cheated a bit - used linked double crochet to get more contrast and used a different border. But the key was the filet crochet pattern and it is fabulous. Just a gorgeous result. I did need an extra skein of yarn but expected that due to the linked double crochet.
I love Red Heart yarn, and this particular color I use for a specific afghan! So happy I could order, and it came so quickly! I have since received another request for an afghan, so will probably order more soon. My only negative is that pick-up orders time is only daytime...no evening hours for those of us who work. But I understand office/retail business...so I will make it work. Wish the store was open, too! Bless you all and Merry Christmas! 😁

I love this yarn and this pattern! I have made this blanket several times and everybody loves it!
Nice cotton blend. I liked the final feel of my washcloths much better than the 100% cotton I’ve used before.
I wanted to crochet some washcloths but the 100% cotton I have used before felt really stiff so I tried this which is a blend. I am super happy I did. They are much softer and look great.
Color is betond beautiful. Accurately shown online - it just doesnt do it justice. So far it works up beautifully. Cant wait for my sweater to be completed!
