I've always loved these traditional stockings. The yarn that came in the kit is a very nice worsted that doesn't split. The colors are traditional too. I'm planning on making a garland with them, and to give as gifts.
Picked up the Christmas and Patriotic colors - they were so quick to make and really cute when finished. They are absorbant and are easy to wash, and hold their shape. I love that there is enough yarn to make more for gifts.

I recently made these for a Christmas present for my daughter... And me! The green one was the favorite part of the gift box I sent her in BC, which included several homemade items. "Ruffles" took me a few tries to get right, but then it was easy-going.
I really enjoy this project. However, when I needed more yarn to make additional sets, and phoned to tell your employee that I was having a hard time ordering on line I was made to feel that I should be able to do it myself. She did finally take my order though.
And....your shipping charges are really steep.
Had difficulty understanding the pattern I completed it but had problems with the topper having even sides will try again
