This wonderfully detailed afghan was created using 20 skeins of Mary Maxim's best-selling, quality yarn, Mary Maxim Starlette, which offered 190 yds per skein at that time. Please note, colors, and yardage have changed since then. With all the options of worsted weight yarns we offer today, you can recreate this to match your homes decor. Overall dimensions, when completed are 47 x 60" (119.5 x 152.5 cm). Requires crochet hooks H-8 (5 mm) and J-10 (6 mm). Intermediate crochet.

I have always wanted to make this pattern so I made the purchase when they went on sale. They are so easy and the pattern is easy to follow. The kit came with it's own yarn, but I used the pattern using a variegated red, white and blue cotton yarn that I had in my stash to make a 4th of July decoration for my mom's apartment door and it came out beautiful. So easy and they make wonderful gifts.
