Designed for the 2023 Mary Maxim Crochet Club using Red Heart Fleece Hugs, a worsted-weight yarn offering 415 yds/7 Oz skein. Shop our amazing selection of worsteds keeping in mind yardage differences. You'll also need a crochet hook size H/8 (5 mm). Finished size 39" square—intermediate crochet.
Stitch Requirements: Chain, single crochet, double crochet, slip, decrease, repeat, color changes.

I have always wanted to make this pattern so I made the purchase when they went on sale. They are so easy and the pattern is easy to follow. The kit came with it's own yarn, but I used the pattern using a variegated red, white and blue cotton yarn that I had in my stash to make a 4th of July decoration for my mom's apartment door and it came out beautiful. So easy and they make wonderful gifts.
These are so easy to make that kids could make them with only a little supervision. Look great and price is good too.
