I've enjoyed working on this baby afghan. I like the yellow as the main color since it's a good color either a boy or girl. The yarn has a nice feel and crochets up nice. The pattern for the most part was easy. However I had to adjust a couple of things. Row 23: should be repeat Row 9 instead of Row 3 (do to stitch count). Also the repeat rows 13-26 for pattern six times more. I only had enough yellow to do 5 repeats. Then Row 3 of the Border the repeat for in between the corners (sc in next ch-5sp, 5 dc in next ch-sp) it didn't look right so I looked at the picture and it shows 7 dc, which looks much better. I still plan to make another one in a different color. It's a nice blanket & it will work for a baby's car seat.

Holding 3 strands of yarn together isn't as easy as it sounds. Even if you separate each ball and put each ball in a holder, bags, etc. I found a much easier solution and no tangling of the yarn. Combine 3 strands together and wind into one large ball; knitting goes faster and no problem with tangling.

The prism yarn is very thin and the color is not consistent like in the picture. The best value yarn separates so it is very slow crocheting.
I love this blanket, but the chart killed me. It’s printed so small even a magnifying glass doesn’t help. I had to divide it into 4 pictures on my iPad so I could enlarge it and then it was hell matching up the rows to each other and they didn’t even number the rows! First off, there is a repeating pattern at the top and bottom of the blanket. This should have had its own chart just showing the repeat. I realize the cow is hard because it has no repeating pattern, but without putting the top an bottom pattern on there would be more room to make the cow part bigger. That’s really the only reason I downed it a star. I love the picture and the yarn is so soft. There has to be a better way to express the chart.

This blanket was alot of fun to make, I enjoy mosaic crochet. The reason I only gave 4 stars was the graph was so hard to read, to Small!! I had a hard time seeing it. I think if you made the graph alot bigger it would be alot easier to see. But all in all I Loved the pattern and the finished blanket was Gorgeous 💕

The blanket is super cute. The only downside is there are no written instructions. You have to use the chart.

The pattern is written well and easy to follow. The only reason I gave 3 stars is for the yarn that was chosen to make up thiskit. The buff colored was strict and kept separating f while the prism yarn was, to me, too thin.
I am only about 50 rows into this project, but so far I am loving it. The directions are clear and easy to follow, and the yarn is soft and warm. I can't wait for it to be done.
