I bought these for the kids and they loved making them. So easy and fast too.
I have always wanted to make this pattern so I made the purchase when they went on sale. They are so easy and the pattern is easy to follow. The kit came with it's own yarn, but I used the pattern using a variegated red, white and blue cotton yarn that I had in my stash to make a 4th of July decoration for my mom's apartment door and it came out beautiful. So easy and they make wonderful gifts.
These are so easy to make that kids could make them with only a little supervision. Look great and price is good too.

The instructions and supplies for this kit were great, and I enjoyed creating it. The kit included everything needed for completion, including the stuffing and the crochet hook. The hook was not the greatest quality, but I was happy to use one of my own. I'd recommend this kit for intermediate to advanced crocheters.
I just made up both Rubi and Toni for gifts for Christmas 2025. They both came out beautifully!
However, the kit for Toni was lacking in some areas. There was not even close to enough green yarn to complete the body, let alone the embroidery. I had to supplement with a different shade of green from Rubi's kit. There were also a number of misprints in Toni's instructions, some of which I only knew the corrections because I had access to Rubi's instructions/ took an educated guess.
They are beautiful kits but keep what I said in mind when ordering Toni.
