Use Mary Maxim Worsted Weight yarn to crochet this patriotic afghan. Originally created in 2009 with Mary Maxim Starlette, which offered 180 yds per skein at that time. Please note, color options and yardage may have changed. Materials List: MC Red (7 skeins), White (4 balls), Dk Blue (4 balls), and 1 ball white crochet cotton for the stars. Requires crochet hooks sizes D-3 (3.25 mm) and K-10.5 (6.5 mm).
Stitch Requirements: Chain, single crochet, color changes.

Time consuming with in being single crochet throughout flag, but worth it bc it’s a solid pattern. Who wants a holy flag? Not me!! Haven’t begun the stars yet but I’m getting ready to. I can already tell you it’s an exact crochet replica of the United States of America flag!! Recommend!!
