Really am enjoying making this. Kit could be improved by 1) better quality yarn as the existing yarn unraveled easily and 2) somehow naming or labeling the blue yarns better as it was hard to differentiate the navy, royal, azure and denim. Also 3) needed a photo of the top and the red sail side!

The colors given and the picture don't match. You gave me a blue that looks like denim and said it was Navy. There wasn't enough wool in the package and it was missing colors. Either the boat doesn't match the picture or when I.received extra wool they weren't sure of the colors.

was happy with the kit EXCEPT I really wish you could do something about the colors representing the actual colors. Some are too close to another color and is nearly impossible to tell the difference. ie yarn colors Navy and white are both represented on the drawing by shades of orange - when I look at the layout I can not tell which are which. Makes no sense to me - it looks like it is all white!!
My 6 year old grandson LOVES lighthouses... this tissue box was the closest I could find to it. I stitched the two sailboats and one compass rose as patterned and created a lighthouse for the 4th side. I am quite proud of the results! Now my 5 year old grandson (cousin) wants the exact same box!
I love this. It was just challenging enough that I didn't get bored. And it looks so nice on my shelf. It is bright and summery and I love it.
I loved the design and had been eyeing it for some time. The problem was that there was not enough light blue background colored yarn in the kit. I save everything so I was able to locate a color very similar to that blue and was able to stitch the top of the tissue box.I'm pretty frugal about how I stitch so I know I did not waste any blue wool. Anyway it now sits in my bathroom and it looks great!

This was a great project to keep arthritic hands agile. The result was a beautiful gift for our daughter's nautical bedroom!
There did seem to be a shortage of white yarn, but luckily I had some from another project, so no problem.

I particularly love the compass on 2 sides and the sail boat on the other 2 sides are a bit different. It was easy to follow the graph, the supplies were plentiful. I love the basic tissue box with no added pieces as it stores well. I change them out. I call this one SUMMER.
