Crochet Car Seat Blankets

Both patterns and yarn were great. Made 3 of them so far. Our church had a baby shower and I donated these for it. Easy and quick to made. Love the colors.

These are all attractive designs and work up quickly. I've made them multiple times.

I had never seen patterns for these before anywhere. They are so cute, fast and easy to make. I bought the kit to make for my soon to be born first great grand baby.

I'm still working on these but the patterns are great. Great quality yarn and instructions.

The yarn is soft and easy to work with . I had a little trouble with the instructions with one of the patterns but I worked it out. It may have been my understanding problem not the instructions. It was the multi-color pattern.

I haven't received them yet. I do have a notification that a parcel is on the way but am unclear if it is my order for above. I was aware it was on back order at the time of purchase but did not hear anything about delivery since the canada post notification this week

Blankets are too small. Wool is very soft.

Nice small projects to do in no time at all. Yarn is especially soft. Colors are perfect for new baby. Patterns were easy to read and you can use them to create your own bigger size for a baby afghan. Loved them! Thankyou Mary Maxim.

East to follow patterns - even the unusual stitches. Yarn is not tightly spun so it is easy to miss strands or pick up extras. Enough yarn left to make a 5th blanket (rainbow).

Yes, I love the kit and I have conquered the patterns for the pink, blue, as well as the aqua blanket. I encountered difficulty reading the yellow blanket pattern the first time but the Mary Maxim lady named Carolyn was patient and told me to call her back if I needed any help with the yellow blanket. Once the blue blanket is complete, I will be sure to call her when I restart the yellow project. I am currently enjoying this blue blanket project.

I would like to thank the store salesperson who suggested I try the crochet kit. I love both the colours and the feel of the yarn. I was able to quickly crochet the aqua baby car seat blanket with no problem. Easy peasy. I did encounter problems with the yellow pattern as my piece kept growing while the pink pattern did not look like the image shown. I think I need more clarification with regards to the pattern instructions. I understood all the short forms. I can even follow *....** , but when it is followed by [...] twice; and then it starts to not look like the pattern. It could be that the level of difficulty is too difficult but as I crochet and knit intricate patterns I feel it could be how the pattern was written. I suggest that instruction clarification be put on the last page of the booklet. I tried to see if it was demonstrated on youtube but it was not there. After writing this review, I will check the blog.
