Wrap baby in warmth with this adorable blanket, hat and booty set. Kit includes Mary Maxim Baby Value yarn and book with 9 additional patterns. Blanket (28" x 28") requires crochet hook F-5 (3.75 mm). Hat and booties available in 3 sizes; 0-3 months requires crochet hook E-4 (3.5 mm), 3-6 months requires F-5 (3.75 mm) and 6-12 months requires G-6 (4 mm). Intermediate crochet.
Stitch Requirements: Chain, double crochet, front post, single crochet, decrease, reverse single crochet, double crochet cluster.

It’s my first time following a pattern to knit something, and of course I am doing this because of PHM! But the pattern is pretty easy to follow and I’m making good progress- two sleeves done! Amaze amaze amaze! I bought the kit, and it comes with everything needed except for needles, which I appreciated so I could find a style of needle that work for me. I will probably be a lifelong Mary Maxim pattern purchaser now! If you’re on the fence and have beginner to intermediate knitting skills, try it. I was able to figure it out!
I got 2 skeins each in Deep Teal, Rich Red and Cottonwood. The colors are pretty with a light sheen and very soft. It's really nice to crochet with. I'm going to surprise my daughter with scarves when she visits from Georgia. She doesn't crochet so I try to keep her in throws and scarves plus blankets for her fur babies. I'm new to Mary Maxim, this will be my 2nd order for yarns, I can say I'm happy with my purchases.
