I bought these for the kids and they loved making them. So easy and fast too.
I have always wanted to make this pattern so I made the purchase when they went on sale. They are so easy and the pattern is easy to follow. The kit came with it's own yarn, but I used the pattern using a variegated red, white and blue cotton yarn that I had in my stash to make a 4th of July decoration for my mom's apartment door and it came out beautiful. So easy and they make wonderful gifts.

I have been using Red Heart Super Saver for years. I created a sweater that was inspired by the “Wicked” film colors for a Christmas gift. This was the first time I had used it for a larger sized garment. The yarn holds up well. However, I’ve noticed that there’s inconsistency between some of the yarn colors. The green that I used had a much softer texture than the pink yarn. The pink yarn was a lot itchier and not as comfortable against the skin as the green yarn was. To remedy the issue, I recommend using some Baby shampoo mixed with fabric softener and a mild hair conditioner and letting the item sit in a rinse. This helps soften the fibers up and makes for a more comfortable wear.
