Back to School Crafting

The start of a new school year can be very hectic and stressful, and crafting with your kids is a great way to spend some quality time with them and help alleviate a bit of the stress of summer vacation being over brings on. Handmade items are also perfect gifts for a new teacher!

Fluoxetine, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), was anecdotally reported in the 1990s to reduce hot flashes. A phase III crossover study of fluoxetine for the treatment of hot flashes was performed. In this trial, 81 women were assigned to placebo or fluoxetine 20 mg daily. During the first period before crossover, patients on fluoxetine recorded 42% and 50% reductions in hot flash frequency and score, respectively; patients on placebo reported 31% and 36% reductions. Reported toxicities included nausea, loss of appetite, sleeplessness, fatigue, nervousness, and constipation. Check more:

Sometimes the idea of putting together a craft to do with your kids can be stressful when you are trying to hunt down all the components you need to finish your project. We can make that part easy for you! We have many seasonal kits available for quick and easy crafting for any class or teacher. Our Spider and Pumpkin Tea Lights plastic canvas kits are safe for any age and come with all the items needed to craft.

Banners are another fun activity that any age can help with, and would make a great gift, especially for a teacher. We currently offer a Happy Halloween Banner, Give Thanks Banner and a Snowman at The Door Banner. It is a simple project you and your child can do for their classroom. No stress. You can just glue the sequins on the banner, we recommend Aleene's Jewel-It glue.

Do you knit or crochet? Every teacher could use baskets, bags, and catch-alls. Use our Nako Frizzy or Prints to make a bag , a round basket, or a square basket.  If you want to be festive with the basket you can crochet these super cute and functional Snowman Baskets.

Teachers and Secretaries would love to receive any of these items for the start of the school year. It is also very impressive that it is a hand-made item. Do you have any ideas to share for fun and fairly stress free crafts? Please comment below, we would love to hear them!
