If you are new to Amigurumi these are perfect patterns to try as most are designed for beginners.  They are designed by award-winning artists who have a lot of experience designing patterns.

Crochet Baby Chick and Easter Egg Bunny

Hello, Yellow Yarn is a project that comes from the passion of MJ, a talented mom, author, crocheter, and amigurumist from Sydney Australia.  Be sure to check out her designs featured in Zoomigurumi7 and Amigurumi Monsters.  From her talent, this adorable chick and bunny come to us in a Free Pattern.  To crochet these adorable Easter cuties you will need a G - 6 (4 mm) crochet hook, DK/Light worsted acrylic yarn in yellow and white.  You will also need a small amount of dark yellow and pink yarn, 4 x 12mm plastic safety eyes, polyester fiberfill, yarn needle, scissors, pink blush, cotton bud, small white fluffy pom-pom (for bunny's tail), and a hot glue gun.

Little Friendly Duck

Lilleliis is a small company led by an Estonian based artist, Mari-Liis Lille, who publishes patterns in English, Dutch, Hungarian, Czech, and Russian. Mari-Liis has been designing handmade toys and crochet patterns for moms for almost a decade.  The Little Friendly Duck free pattern requires a size D - 3 (3.25 mm) crochet hook and a small amount of Aran weight (worsted weight) yarn in 4 colors and is great for beginners.  You will also need polyester fiberfill, safety eyes, and a darning needle.

Zeens and Roger is the crafting blog of fiber artist Rosina.  She has been featured in crafting magazines and has wonderful crochet tutorials.  Stop by Zeens for some wonderful free patterns and inspiration.  For these Easter eggs, you will need lightweight DK yarn and a D - 3 (3.25 mm) hook. You will also need polyester fiberfill, a yarn needle and lightweight yarn in various colors.
