Square 30
Ch 27 loosely
Row 1: Hdc in 3
rd ch from hook and in each ch to end, turn . (25 hdc)
Row 2: Ch 2, hdc in each of first 3 sts, work Popcorn as follows:
5 dc in next hdc, drop loop from hook, insert hoo in first dc of group, hook dropped loop and draw through, ch 1 to close – Popcorn made, 3 times, hdc in last 3 hdc, turn. (4 Popcorns)
Row 3, 5 and 7: Ch 2, Hdc in first hdc and in each hdc and Popcorn to end, turn. (25 hdc)
Row 4: Ch 2, hdc in first 5 hdc, Popcorn in next hdc, 3 times, hdc in last hdc, turn . (4 Popcorns)
Row 6: Ch 2, hdc in first hdc, 4 times.
Repeat Rows 2-7 until square measures 7”
Square 31
Ch 27 loosely
Row 1: Dc in 4
th ch from hook and in each ch to end, turn. (25 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn. (25 sts)
Row 3: Ch 3, *work Fpdc around post of next dc in row below, skip sc behind Fpdc, dc in next sc; rep from * to end, turn. (25 sts)
Row 4: Ch 1, sc in each st to end, turn
Row 5: Ch 3, *dc in next sc, Fpdc around post of next Fpdc in row below, skip sc behind Fpdc; rep from * to last 2 sc, dc in each of last 2 sc, turn.
Repeat 2-5 until square measures 7”
Square 32
Ch 27 loosely
Row 1: Dc in 4
th ch from hook and in each ch to end, turn. (25 sts)
Row 2: Ch 4 (counts as first dc and ch 1), skip next dc, *dc in next dc, ch 1, skip next dc; rep from *across, dc in top of beg ch, turn. (12 ch-1 spaces)
Row 3: Ch 3, dc in each ch-1 sp and in each dc across, turn. (25 sts)
Repeat Rows 2 and 3 until square measures 7”
