https://gem-3910432.netToday for I Love Yarn Week we celebrate Light Weight Yarns.  There is so much variety in our lightweight yarn selection.  We have recently added Amigurumi and Dishcloth to the Mary Maxim line of yarns.  Lightweight yarns are our favorites to design sweaters with.  Knitting with size 3 lightweight yarn typically gives the garment a better stitch definition and doesn't add any bulk to the silhouette.

I Love Amigurumi Yarn.

Amigurumi artists worldwide have been praising our Amigurumi yarn.  This Yarn comes in 14 colors and is a 51% acrylic, 49% cotton blend.  This yarn is a favorite among amigurumi artist because the cotton blend adds to the softness of their creations without compromising the structure of their pattern.

I Love Dishcloth Yarn

New to Mary Maxim's house yarns is Dishcloth Cotton Yarn. This yarn is a wonderful cotton blend, 85% cotton and 15% polyamide.  There are approximately 164 yards in each 3.5 oz ball of Dishcloth Cotton Yarn.  With 16 colors to choose from, there are so many possibilities. To get you started here are 6 free dishcloth patterns (3 knit, 3 crochet)

I Love Mellowspun DK

Ultra Mellowspun DK yarn is the most popular of all of our lightweight yarns.  Mellowspun has been a staple of our house yarns for many years and is our "go-to" when we design garments.  Mellowspun comes in 32 stunning colors.  You will find a variety of brights, pastels, natural and jewel tones among other color staples.

I Love Prism

Prism is a special yarn line.  When you see it you just have to try it.  Prism is a 100% acrylic roving yarn that lends itself to some amazing natural textures.  Expect varied thickness when working with this yarn, it was designed to mimic some types of naturally spun yarns.  Prism comes in 13 colors and has approximately 290 yards in each ball or doughnut of yarn.
