I had a great experience with Mary Maxim customer service. One of the yarns in my recent order was splitting quite a bit while I was working with it. I honestly thought it might just be one of those chances you take with yarn, but I called to ask about it.
The customer service representative was so nice and told me the yarn should not be separating like that. They sent me a replacement without making the process difficult at all. First time ordering a surprise color and I was pleasantly surprised with the color. I made myself a fun sun hat for the beach. It’s floppy so my next one will use some wire for the edge but I still think it’s cute

I’m still pretty new to using cotton yarn, and I really love the speckled colors in Premier Cotton. The little pops of color are so cute in finished projects and make even simple patterns look extra fun. It’s easy to work with, has nice stitch definition, and works great for the hats, dishcloths, and other cotton projects I’ve been making. I’ll definitely keep buying the speckles!

This little fellow was a great addition to the retro snowman that I recently made. Since both snowman were gifts for my daughter-in-law, I ordered a skein of Mary Maxim Starlette white sparkle yarn for the rustic snowman. I also changed the scarf a bit. The kit was missing the button and holly accent, so I called a customer service agent, who happily assisted me. A few days later, I received the missing pieces in the mail. The pattern was easy to follow and the project was finished in a few hours. I look forward to making more Mary Maxim snowmen soon.
Loved this pattern - easy to follow instructions. I did find the eye, button and ivy were way too small for the size of the snowman so I used my own. I think it turned out great.

This kit had plenty of yarn and easy to follow instructions which made the project fun to do. The yarn was of high quality and my results look very similar to the photo. The photo shows a black yarn for the hat, but my kit had brown, which worked okay. Also you need to provide your own stuffing - I used most of a 20 oz bag.

Adorable and fun
A fun project to complete... was looking for the pattern for making the mittens... they're a part of the arms. The actual yarn colors are a bit different from the online photos. I'm planning on making this snowman, again, wearing a purple vest and using more of a white sparkling yarn for the body.
The only problem I had with this kit was I ran out of the main color yarn and had to buy more yarn to finish the snowman. Had plenty of the other colors but not enough of the main color

Everything included in this kit to complete snowman except enough cream yarn. I called up Mary Maxim and they mailed me 4 additional yards at no cost so that I could complete the item. Looking for additional kits to purchase. Great quality yarn and easy instructions to follow. Would purchase this again.

I loved the snowman but I did not have enough of the cream yarn. Luckily I had some of the same in my stash do I could finish the project. The instructions were clear and easily followed.
