Plenty of yarn, vivid colors! Pattern is easy to follow once you get the hang of it (I have never done mosaic crochet before and this was my first time!) I will say there are a few corrections needed on the pattern itself, but most of my errors ended up being user error haha. I have never done a pocket border before either, and that part of the pattern could have been a tad more clear.

I have several different colors and other brands of cotton and as far as the stiffer cotton they compare the same and a little cheaper. I absolutely love yarn especially cotton for my bags that I make especially because of the feel and quality of the product. I absolutely love this yarn, it is smooth and easy to work with. The variegated makes the most beautiful washcloths, especially when made in the lemon peel stitch alternating colors every row. I made some with this yarn in "rosy cheeks" alternated with black, it was absolutely gorgeous and the recipient loved them.
