I had to adjust the pattern as I did not receive enough of the med gray or white yarn to complete the cats per the pattern. I was given twice as much of the grey tweed yarn than I needed. I made the cats shorter.

I found the directions hard to follow, but, I don’t crochet that much

Cute bag. A bit frustrating that even with following instructions, there was not enough yarn to create as pictured with cats on both sides. I ran out of 3 or the 4 cat colors and had to unravel and redo entirely one side in MC.

The yarn I received does not match the pattern directions at all.

My aunt bought me this kit to make for her and now that I have the pattern another for my mom. The kit didn't come with enough yarn for both panels to each have 4 cats but they sent 3 large balls of charcoal and I still have 2 balls left! luckily I have a bunch of stash yarn and was able to make a second panel. The gray cats are a different color then the front but hopefully no one will notice . Another thing is the directions are confusing so I did my own thing in some places. It's a very cute bag a little smaller than expected but I think my aunt will love it!

Cute bag that works up fast but ran out of yarn for the back panel. Very disappointed.

Nice design but in order to get correct size I had to go down two crochet sizes and crochet very tightly; difficult with this thickness of yarn, There was not enough white, grey or black yarn (had to use from my stash) to do the back. It is going to be touch and go to see if there is enough heather. However, you sent 3 skeins of the medium grey, which is way more than is necessary. It makes me think that whoever decided on the yarn amounts thought that the back was all medium grey???

I also ran out of black and the lt gray. Almost ran out of white (need to use my backup for the whiskers). I had some backup black yarn that worked out okayish, then used some of the heather gray to help with the lt gray. It looks kinda dumb but at least it's the back. Pretty disappointing, as I had gotten the similar knit cat bag which had plenty of each color. I'm hesitant to buy another kit.

I'll be finishing this in a couple days and I can't wait!!! Beautiful

It's a nice pattern and a cute bag, but the description says the kit comes with starlette yarn and my kit came with bernat super value. There was also not nearly enough of the contrasting colors to finish the bag - I ran out of three colors less than halfway through the second side and had to improvise with supplemental yarn to finish. I couldn't even buy more of the original colors as I didn't know what brand/colors/dye lots they came from.

Even on sale, considering not enough yarn and a lower quality of yarn was included in this kit, I don't think it was worth the cost. I wish I could have bought just the pattern and sourced my own yarn.

This was the second time I ordered from Mary Maxim and both times I received kits with incorrect colors. Each cat is supposed to be a different color but they sent me two of the same colors. The yarn is not a very good quality.

Not worth the price. I ran out of the light gray yarn even though I did not carry the yarn. The directions are very confusing. I have made several different bags, even create my own patterns. I made it work by doing my own thing to finish the bag. 3 of the skeins or yarn had knots that I had to cut out.

I was disappointed with the yarn, one of the colors was not the same weight as the other others, and made a small dip in the row. And I think you could’ve given more yarn than so, so close to what was being used.

I've been looking at this pattern for a while now. Finally have it and can't wait to make it!

Like many other reviewers, I ran out of yarn for the cats on the back side. Very frustrating.

I think the instructions need a bit of color work explanation. There is not enough yarn to make cats on both sides. Bag needs to be lined with fabric. I would not buy another kit from Mary Maxim.

I like the pattern, but the kit didn't come with enough yarn. I ran out of 3 colors in the middle of the second side.

Pattern was good and easy to follow. Like many other reviewers, I also ran out of yarn. I have a really tight stitch and did not carry the yarn and still ran out of two colors. They need to increase the amount of black and gray and also a little more white although I barely managed to squeak through on that. They provide enough of the dark gray and heathered gray so I'm not sure why they are skimping on the others.

I am working on this now and I don’t believe I enough yarn ( white and grays) to finish. I may have to go in my stash. The pattern is very well written and I am enjoying the process.

Happy with results, but yarn amount was not correct. I got double of what I needed of main color and ran out of black and light grey.

For 3 of the colors there wasn't enough yarn in the kit. I crochet to gauge and there was about 1/3 of each of the 3 colors missing. The instructions were also not the best, there was no explanation of what the PM (markers) were for. I wouldn't want to do this project if I was a new crocheter. I did get it finished but these things were what I had to deal with.

Love the pattern but ran out of 3 of the yarns. My crochet was right on gauge.

Love theWhisker Wishes bag but wish instructions would come for both right and left handed crocheters. I have been crocheting for a while but find that charts can be a problem for left handed crocheters. I will complete the project but know that it will take longer.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who is a "cat person". It's a perfect gift for her. She loves it
