As I so much love birds and snowmen, I immediately fell in love with this picture and just had to have it. The kit was so simple to make, however, I did make a few changes to make it to my liking. Just some ideas you might also like as well: As I thought the title of the kit "What'cha Doing?" was so cute, 1) I purchased small foam white letters and stitched them above the snowman with that quote. 2) as it wasn't really clear who was making this comment, I made the snowman's mouth open notating that he is saying it to the little bird. 3) While that bird is keeping the snowman occupied, the other bird is stealing a piece of straw out of his broom so I added a loose piece of yarn in the broom's color in between that bird's beak. 4) I didn't make the snowflakes as they appear on the kit, but instead purchased various size foam snowflakes, both plain white and glittered and stitched them over all the tapestry. 5) Instead of using the white yarn supplied, I purchased a skein of white frosted baby quilting yarn, doubled up on the needle, which made the snowman appear to actually be made from snow. I am so pleased with how it has turned out and I would recommend this kit.

It is a very cute pattern with quality yarn included.

As I wrote in a previous review, I bought this for a friend who is in an assisted living facility. All of her fellow residents are thrilled that she makes these and displays them on her door for all to enjoy. Very pretty and whimsical.

This was a kit I purchased with two other kits. They all came in a timely fashion. Have not opened any of the kits yet, still trying to decide if I want to do them or give as gifts for a friend who likes to do crafts. Very pleased!! Should I have issues I have worked with customer service before and they were very friendly and easy to work with to resolve any issues!! Highly recommend to family and friends that love crafting like I do!!

It came out so cute and colorful . Makes you smile when looking at it. Very easy to stitch. Broom bristles a little tricky but you can fake it.

I received a first place ribbon at the state fair for this wonderful snowman.

Bought this to teach granddaughter how to use plastic canvas. IT is a simple enough project for a preteen and a good way to get them crafting.

Cutest little guy ever!

The large piece of plastic canvas was split because of being folded during shipment. I was offered a replacement. There was plenty of yarn to complete the project. I made it without the holly so it could be displayed through January.

It's a very nice pattern with good directions but I had to reorder 5 of the yarn colors because there wasn't enough included in the kit to finish it. Mary Maxim is good about reordering but it still takes awhile to get the yarn. I'm still waiting for the last 3 colors to arrive so that I can finish.
