I had a great experience with Mary Maxim customer service. One of the yarns in my recent order was splitting quite a bit while I was working with it. I honestly thought it might just be one of those chances you take with yarn, but I called to ask about it.
The customer service representative was so nice and told me the yarn should not be separating like that. They sent me a replacement without making the process difficult at all. I was really pleased with how helpful, friendly, and easy they were to work with. Great customer service makes such a difference, and I really appreciated it!
First time ordering a surprise color and I was pleasantly surprised with the color. I made myself a fun sun hat for the beach. It’s floppy so my next one will use some wire for the edge but I still think it’s cute
Good products at a good price
I’m still pretty new to using cotton yarn, and I really love the speckled colors in Premier Cotton. The little pops of color are so cute in finished projects and make even simple patterns look extra fun. It’s easy to work with, has nice stitch definition, and works great for the hats, dishcloths, and other cotton projects I’ve been making. I’ll definitely keep buying the speckles!

The tree tissue box is a fun project to complete. I love the idea that it created a three dimensional design and appearance. The assembly directions are tricky to interpret. That was the most challenging part of the project. Much more fun and sense of accomplishment when finished.

Seems someone may have been in a rush to write the instructions. I’ve done a lot of MM kits, but the instructions on this one are not clear at all. I’m guessing about many of the steps. I just hope it comes together in the end.

The cutting took a lot of time, stitching was straight forward but the assembly was complicated. Don’t start it if you are unprepared to spend a lot of time.
I love the finished product but won’t stitch it again.

Was a challenging kit. There was a shortage of yarn though I don't remember what color because it was fall of 2019 that I made this kit.
Looks so cute on a table with the tissue appearing like smoke.
the pattern is great easy to follow, however the yarn is very poor quality, and there was not enough to finish the kit the way it said.
