Makes a Lovely Tissue Box Cover

The finished kit is quite lovely and my husband likes it.. I didn't follow the instructions precisely when I put in the long-stitch branches, so every tree looks a bit different, and I like that. Putting on the sequins was tricky as I am not expert with French knots. Practice will, hopefully, make perfect.
There was enough yarn left over that I made a bottom the same size as the top and sewed it to the box on one side. I attached dark blue ⅛" ribbons to the the other corners (cover and bottom). When tied together in a bow the ribbons keep the cover on the box so you can move it without the box falling out.

check size to your tissue box

The size of the pattern does not fit any tissue box of this shape that I can find. It is easy enough to adjust but I would recommend you check it against the box you intend using it on first. I should have so that is on me. Otherwise the box is pretty cute and my mom loved it.

Enjoyed doing these beautiful tissue box covers. Made four of them as Christmas gifts and everyone loved them. The kits have more then enough supplies to finish off this project. Would make this one again.

Winter friendly

I made this tissue box cover to use during the winter months. It was fun to make, but sewing the beads and sequins on was a bit tedious. In the end, it looks good and makes a nice cover for tissue boxes, and the best part is, I can use it all winter long. The kit had plenty of yarn, and the quality was good.
