I’m making a marled throw for my g-grandson holding two strands Premier Colorfusion DK yarn. I’m using a yarn strand from each end of the skein to develop the marled design. The throw in the Blue Jean color is turning out perfect for a 12yr old boy. I’ve added stripes of different colors every 12 rows throughout the throw.
The Premier Colorfusion Dk yarn is soft & nice to work with. I recommend this yarn.

I absolutely adore the sledding snowmen! So much so that I purchased a second kit. Over the years I've purchased a total of five various snowmen patterns from Mary and am happy with all of them. I've received so many compliments and requests to make the snowmen. The sledding snowmen pattern is easy to follow and the yarn is easy to work with. Highly recommend especially if you like snowmen as much as I do. :wink:
This kit was absolutely great. The material was of good quality, nice colours, complete with the eyes. After completion, it was very attractive and a nice addition as a winter decoration. People admire the final product when they see it.

I found the blue colours were extremely close and used the wrong ones. I also found that the instructions for the hats to be a wee bit obscure, but as an advanced hooker, I was able to figure it out after several attempts.. I made a change on the rope. Instead of only doing a chain, I did a single crochet around a pipe cleaner, then pulled the pipe cleaner out. This allowed for a more rope-like look as well, I wrapped it around the clasped 'hands' of the larger snowman to give the appearance of him holding onto it. All in all. It was fun to make. It works well with my other MM Snow People
The snowmen came out really cute. Could have used another full skein of gray for the sled-I started out matching the gauge but a couple rows in it was clear I would run out of yarn so I tightened up a lot. Sled ended up skinny and long, if I do again I'd take some stitches off the length and maybe end up with enough yarn and a little wider. Otherwise came out pretty much like the picture.

Being a beginner thought I would tackle this. Just a little harder then I thought but jnstructions are clear
A beautiful pattern but I found the white maximum yarn had to many knots that were close together in the centre, was very disappointed because of it. For the amount the pattern costed the white yarn should have been of better quality and no joins.

I love this pattern and can’t wait to get started ! It will be one of my favorite winter projects.
Pattern was easy to read. Kit arrived packaged securely so that non of the components feel out. Instructions were clear and easy to read. Was a little disappointed that the sled color came in two partial rolls and one full skein. I hate having to knot a project as I feel it takes away from the end results. But all in all very happy with this kit.

My only disappointment was that there were some inconsistent areas of yarn that I would not have expected and had to cut out which made for extra ends to be woven in.
