It is the softest yarn . I use it to loom blankets .i am a knitter , trying to crochet , with this yarn I am making headway .
This is one of my favorite yarns, and im so sad it’s discontinued. It’s soft and it’s durable. It is warm but not overheating.

The Bernat chunky yarn tweed yarn does not meet my expectation of a product from MM! My half finished Afghan looks like it was washed & dried with a Kleenex. The white flex are not attached to the brown yard very well, and fall off as I knit. I am finishing it, and donating it to the homeless shelter.

I really like using this yarn to crochet wintertime bonnets. The colors are fun, and it is not splitty at all, which I really appreciate.
This yarn has it all. So soft, great drape for a chunky yarn, a joy to work with, and the flecks of color hold my interest. The claret is a deep red, a wine red, and I had to buy up more as well as other colors! I went through a test of stitches that worked best and I found the moss stitch was the best for a simple mindless repeat for a throw project. Wonderful yarn. I can honestly say I bought up enough to last me awhile.

It is good yarn,actually is wrapped with a very fine thread, so it does not split when knitting .
out of 5 balls it had 3 knots.not so good as you have all these extra tails to weave in.

As a weaver and new knitter color and texture are important to me. This yarn is soft to the touch and easy to work with. Projects go fairly quickly and the random pops of colors add dimension. It has been fun to work with.

I’m making an afghan with a 10 mm hook, C2C stitch. It’s coming out wonderfully. Looks better, softer, fluffier in person. I definitely recommend this yarn especially if you get it for $1.99/skein here at Mary Maxim.
