Luz Poncho Ramble

Great pattern. I even contacted the person who created the pattern for help and they replied within 24 hours. I am making it for a grandchild, I love it so much I will make one for me.

Worsted weight yarn for this project is good; especially when a young girl may want to stay warm outside with the hood on and hands in the built-in muff pocket. I bought it in variegated turquoise. I think that it will be better than a solid with the solid knitting smooth to give it the visual texture it needs. I have not knit this one up, yet. I think it will be real easy, though. My granddaughter will love it. She will be 11 soon.

I can’t wait to start these…one for each granddaughter.

Needle size was incorrect for me you say a nine I had to use a six needle

For being a beginner some instructions were hard foe example when you added the pocket. But with help from you tube I got it done.

I found that the instructions were very difficult to follow. Should have been a quick and easy work up, but wound up having to take out multiple times because the instructions were so challenging. I will not make this again.

This came in child and adult sizes. I made a child size 13/14 and everything was fine except the hood was way too big. Then I made the adult size large and it was way too large, more like 5X size. I had to take it all out and redo it. I made the adult small size to get an adult large. I made the child size hood for it and it turned out perfect. It did not come with the buttons that it said were attached in the instructions.

I just started the poncho for my granddaughter for Xmas

Yarn is nice altho I have not knitted it yet.

I thought the directions were very hard to follow. Also I felt the hood overwhelmed the poncho-I was making size 3. I ended up removing the hood and then I was happier with the finished product.

I had to order the remaining 4 balls of yarns for the size I ordered. It didn't come alm together

I had a question about this beautiful-looking poncho. I was wondering if you have a pattern in adult sizes? This seems to be only for children.
