I’m making a marled throw for my g-grandson holding two strands Premier Colorfusion DK yarn. I’m using a yarn strand from each end of the skein to develop the marled design. The throw in the Blue Jean color is turning out perfect for a 12yr old boy. I’ve added stripes of different colors every 12 rows throughout the throw.
The Premier Colorfusion Dk yarn is soft & nice to work with. I recommend this yarn.

Puff Stitch Chevrons Afghan

I have been crocheting for years. First the yarn skeins were knotted throughout, The pattern increases as it is worked and does not work evenly. There was not enough yarn for the project as the instructions are written. I have started over three times and following the instructions very carefully. It is still not working right.

I do like the colors and the pattern. It is very pretty but very confusing.

The instructions were easy to follow and the colors are amazing. I did, however, substitute the beige for gray to match my decor.
It's turning out beautiful!
I ordered 2 kits because it would have been a toddler size blanket otherwise. I also added on quite a few more stitches to make it wider and will make it longer to cover my whole body.

Beautiful throw

I love the finished product, the throw is absolutely beautiful, the colors compliment each other very well. The instructions are easy to follow, you just need to memorize few transitions and that's it. The yarn is not soft, but the quality is great (from 6 balls of yarn only one ball had 3 knots, other balls didn't have any knots). Overall I am very happy with this afghan. Would be nice to make it in blue shades as well.
