With this vintage graph-style pattern, you can create a Pheasant Hunt Cardigan that is perfect for those cooler days and is sure to keep them warm and comfortable. Pattern features instructions for raglan or set-in sleeves, button or zipper closure. Created originally with Mary Maxim Northland yarn, which had 80 yards per skein at the time, we now offer a fantastic selection of bulky yarns to match your unique style. Keep in mind that the yardage may vary. We recommend Premier Puzzle Solids with 328 yds/7 oz skeins! You'll also need U.S. 6 (4.25 mm) and 9 (5.50 mm) needles to complete this must-have piece. Includes Ladies' and Youth sizes 32-34-36 only. You can also find this design in Men's and Ladies' or Men' Childrens' sizes!
Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, repeat, increase, decrease, slip, cast on, cast off, colored pattern knitting method, fair isle knitting method.

Love this! The only yarn I use for amigurumi now! It does have a tendency to pill at the ends, but it makes for a great, soft end product, so it is worth it by me despite the difficulty to sew things in.
I love the colors and made an hat
I live in Scotland, in a village 10 minutes away from where the designer lives, but chose to make my purchase from Mary Maxim as I've seen the results of so many makes in Prism and love them. The kit comes in a strong clear storage bag, which is similar in size to the ones I use to protect my stash from cat hair, so it's easily stored with the others. The colours and textures of the yarns are gorgeous. The pattern is well written and easy to follow, even for a visual learner, like me. This is a wee Christmas gift to myself, but I've got a feeling that once it's completed, it'll find itself in my son's room! I can't wait to get started. We need a Mary Maxim outlet on this side of the pond.

I ordered a few kits and this is the first one I started. I would prefer if it came with single segments of yarn so I didn't have to keep rethreading the needle but I learned to tape the end of the yarn to simplify rethreading and that definitely sped things up.
