Cute Gift Idea.

Really cute and was not difficult to do.

Haven’t made it yet but am always happy with Mary maxim patterns.

It came out beautiful! Love it

working on it

Only have 16 rows done so far but instructions are clearly given. Working up beautiful. I'm not an expert doing crochet. May be a little difficult for a beginner. Instructions were easy to download. Saved me time driving to Paris. I already had enough yarn at home.

I received the pattern as a download. The printed directions are very easy to follow, but would have liked to have a printed pattern of the blanket to verify if I am correct on following the written pattern.

Nothing special, it is a lovely pattern download and print.

Yarn amount

Pattern only stated 8 balls but no ounces were given. I contacted customer service & she suggested the Baby Value Y006 (which are 6 oz skeins or balls) for this afghan.
I ordered 8 balls (skeins) of the AQUA. However when I finished this afghan I had only used 4 skeins of yarn. That's why having the ounces in the yarn information is important. This pattern turned out cute. The only problem I had was after row two if you still continued to count the turning chain as a double crochet or not. Once I figured that out the pattern went easy.
I'm making a different afghan with the leftover yarn.

Hugs and Kisses for sure

This pattern is very easy to follow. Because it is neutral, not flowery, I can make it in pink or blue or any other color and it would be perfect. Great for baby shower and quick to work up. I also make one a little longer and gave it as a lapghan for an older neighbor. They loved it.

Love it but...

Although I am a not a beginner, this pattern is proving to be a challenge. I will continue to try but will definitely have to make a different blanket for my baby gift.
