On the harvest blocks blanket, why a 36” circular needle. Cast on 42 stitches, can I use straight needles?

Been knitting for 70 yrs. This yarn is totally inappropriate for this pattern. Not at all thick enough.

I'm not an expert knitter; even though I've been knitting for nearly 60 years off and on. I've had to frog and restart this blanket four times--because I keep messing up the pattern! So I have four rows done, maybe. The yarn is lovely; I think I've just been too ambitious. And I'm playing with only using the ridge pattern, if I can't get the other pattern down. This one is for more experienced knitters than me.

This is exactly what I wanted. The yarn is great and the colors are true to the picture.

I was looking for a blanket with multi designs and this exceeded what I wanted. I have not yet made this but am looking forward to doing so.

I love the colors and easy pattern for this blanket. I'm on the third of 5 strips and everything seems to be coming along well. I'm looking forward to giving it to my son who recently moved into a new home.

The variety of colors are perfect for my grandsons blankets. The texture of the yarn not so great. Very light weight for needle size.

I haven't started this blanket yet but I hope to soon. I love the color combinations and can hardly wait to start it. I love the different kinds of blankets and afghans you have in your catalogue and can hardly wait to get the next issue to see what there is new for spring summer this year. Since we can't go too far this year knitting and crocheting takes up most of my time. Thank you

Beautiful colors with a few different stitches to give it texture. Wool is soft and cuddly.

I ordered and paid for this in early December and still have not received it.. I know it is sold out but it’s been 2 months. Would be nice to have some indication of when it will be back in stock.

It was worth the wait, as the item was sold out. I have not finished it yet, but it will looks as nice as the picture.

Loved the colors and so I used my stitch dictionary and some math skills to make my own blocks.

Caron Simply Soft Yarn is easy to knit with and easy to care for. It is warm but not too warm for a cozy Afghan. It is soft to the touch but gives good crisp stitch definition. So the patterns of the alternating squares will give the Afghan an interesting texture, but should still be fairly easy for most fairly new knitters to do. Beginners will probably appreciate being able to do one square at a time. More advanced knitters may chose to just change colors without binding off to avoid having to seam the squares together at the end.
